Explore Wellness
Practical guidance for strength, recovery, longevity, and realistic routines designed to work with midlife—not against it.
A More Realistic View of Wellness
Wellness is not one routine, one product, or one perfect day. It is the collection of choices that support how you want to feel and live. Explore each area at your own pace and choose what works for your real life.

Movement That Works for You
Movement can support strength, mobility, balance, energy, and confidence. The best routine is one you can return to consistently—not one that leaves you depleted or discouraged.
- Home workouts and gentle strength training
- Mobility, stretching, and balance work
- Recovery days and beginner-friendly modifications
- Choosing a level that respects your current energy and ability
Walking & Nature
A walk does not have to be intense to be meaningful. Time outdoors can combine approachable movement with a chance to slow down, notice your surroundings, and step away from everyday noise.
Try a short walk without making distance or speed the goal. Let the purpose be movement, fresh air, and a change of perspective.

Meditation and Emotional Wellness
Meditation does not require an empty mind or a long silent session. A few intentional minutes of breathing, guided meditation, or quiet reflection can become a practical pause in a busy day.
- Guided meditation for beginners
- Breathing exercises during stressful moments
- Mindful body scans and brief check-ins
- Journaling, gratitude, and gentle reflection

Rest That Works With Your Life
Rest can be difficult when your mind is busy, your schedule changes, or sleep does not come easily. This section focuses on realistic ways to create a calmer transition into sleep—without pretending one routine works for everyone.
Consider trouble winding down, waking during the night, racing thoughts, inconsistent schedules, and whether digital tools genuinely support your routine and protect your personal data.

NuCalm: A Calmer Nighttime Routine
NuCalm is a subscription-based neuroacoustic app with programs designed for nighttime rest, stress relief, short recovery breaks, and focused work. For a nighttime routine, DeepestSleep can be played at bedtime through a speaker; other sessions may use headphones.
It will not be the right fit for everyone. Consider the subscription terms, your comfort with audio-based wellness tools, and whether it supports a routine you can realistically maintain.

Red-Light Therapy: What to Know
Red-light therapy uses targeted wavelengths of light. Because devices vary in power, treatment area, and intended use, it helps to understand the details before adding one to your routine.
Before choosing a device
- Look for clear wavelength, power, and usage information.
- Check whether the device has FDA clearance for its intended use.
- Protect your eyes and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Consult a healthcare professional if you have a health condition or take photosensitizing medication.

Supplements and Emerging Research
A simpler supplement routine can be especially appealing in midlife. Explore my current Global Healing routine, the peptide conversation, and my personal experience with glutathione.
Peptides in Midlife: What Women Are Talking About
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that help transmit signals throughout the body. Interest has grown among women in midlife, particularly in conversations about skin aging, metabolism, recovery, and sleep.
The word “peptides” covers a wide range—from topical skincare ingredients and FDA-approved medications to compounded prescriptions and experimental products. These options are not interchangeable, and the evidence differs for each specific peptide and use.
A thoughtful approach: Anyone considering a peptide medication or injectable therapy should consult a qualified healthcare professional and avoid products marketed only for “research use.”

My Simple Two-Step Supplement Routine After 45
I previously took vitamin C and omega supplements separately. After discovering Global Healing’s Organic Multivitamin with Minerals, I simplified my personal routine. Now I take the multivitamin and Microsomal NAD+.
This is my personal routine and experience—not a recommendation that everyone needs the same supplements.

An All-in-One Daily Foundation
For women in their late 40s and beyond who prefer a simpler routine, this multivitamin combines more than 30 vitamins, minerals, and functional nutrients in one formula.
A full four-capsule serving includes vitamin C, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, vitamin E, and an omega 3-6-9 blend. I like knowing these nutrients are already included instead of automatically taking several separate supplements.
Why NAD+ Stands Out to Me
As I moved through midlife, I became more interested in the role NAD+ plays in cellular energy and metabolism. Global Healing Microsomal NAD+ has become a standout part of my personal routine alongside the multivitamin.
NAD+ is involved in important cellular processes, which is why it continues to receive attention in healthy-aging research. I appreciate the simple liquid format and how easily it fits into my day. Research into the benefits of NAD+ supplementation is still developing, and individual results may vary.
Why I Prefer a Glutathione Mist
Two products I have enjoyed, one personal favorite—and a closer look at the research behind the conversation.

The mist gets my vote.
I have tried both Gluta Myst and a Cymbiotika glutathione product, and I have been very happy with both. Gluta Myst is the one I prefer.
“Both products worked very well, but I love the mist better.”
Gluta Myst is the glutathione product in the Xosial mist trio featured in The Studio Edit. It is an oral supplement mist, rather than a facial skincare spray.

Gluta Myst
Personally used and preferred. The mist format is my favorite of the glutathione products I have tried.
Cymbiotika
Another glutathione product I have used and enjoyed. My preference for the mist is personal, rather than proof that one formula works better for everyone.
Global Healing
I have ordered Global Healing glutathione. My experience with this product is still to come; it is not yet a Studio-tested recommendation.
What the research tells us
Glutathione is an antioxidant made by the body that participates in cellular defenses against oxidative stress. Its natural role does not mean every glutathione supplement delivers the same benefits.
Small human studies have explored oral glutathione and skin pigmentation, and liposomal glutathione and body glutathione levels. These findings do not establish that an oral mist removes fine lines, reverses aging, or is superior to other formats.
A thoughtful next step
Compare the full ingredient list, serving directions, and purchase terms. Research on an ingredient or delivery format does not automatically apply to a specific branded product.
Ask a qualified healthcare professional about suitability if you take medication, have a health condition, or are receiving treatment. Follow the product label.
Always review the product label and consider guidance from a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you take medication or have a health condition. Supplement needs vary.
A Thoughtful Safety Note
This page is for general education and is not medical advice. Supplements, sleep concerns, light-based devices, and exercise choices can interact with health conditions, medications, pregnancy, or treatment plans. Talk with a qualified healthcare professional when personal medical guidance is needed.
